1. WHO WE ARE

NextGen Forge Technologies ("Company," "we," "us," "our") is a technology services and skills-development business operating in India. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data of website visitors, prospective and current clients, and candidates in our internship/simulation program ("Program").

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

2a. From clients and prospective clients (software development, AI integration, and consulting engagements):

Business/company name and, where applicable, GST or company registration details
Authorized contact person's name, designation, email, and phone number
Project requirements, specifications, and briefs shared with us
Existing technical assets shared for the engagement (e.g., codebase access, API keys, credentials, design files) — solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed project
Communication records: emails, calls, meeting notes, and messages exchanged during scoping and delivery
Billing and invoicing details, and payment confirmation records

2b. From Program (internship) applicants:

Contact details: name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number
Application materials: resume/CV, educational background, portfolio links
Payment-related information: transaction ID and payment confirmation from our payment gateway provider — we do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details
Program records: mentor meeting notes, project submissions, performance feedback, completion status
Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages, and any correspondence you send us

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

To scope, quote, develop, test, and deliver software development and consulting projects for clients
To communicate project progress and manage the client relationship
To invoice and collect payment upon project completion or agreed milestones
To evaluate and process internship/Program applications
To deliver the Program: offer letters, mentorship, project assignment, performance tracking, completion/experience certificates
To provide the company email account issued to Program participants on 3-month-or-longer tracks
To respond to support requests, including from individuals who mistakenly believe a third-party transaction is associated with us
To comply with applicable law

4. LEGAL BASIS AND CONSENT

We process your personal data based on your consent, given when you submit an application, engage us for a project, make a payment, or otherwise provide information to us. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us below; this does not affect processing already carried out.

5. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Retained only as long as necessary, or as required by law. Client project records are retained for the duration of the engagement plus any applicable warranty/support period. Program records are retained for 3 years after completion to support future verification requests (e.g., employer background checks).

6. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with our payment gateway provider, our email/workspace provider (for Program email provisioning), or law enforcement/regulators where legally required.

7. INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

If you are engaging us for services from outside India, your data is processed in India under this policy. By engaging us, you consent to this cross-border processing. Project payment terms, currency, and delivery timelines for international clients are as agreed in the individual service agreement or proposal for that engagement.

8. INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP APPLICANTS

If you are applying to the Program from outside India, your data is processed in India under this policy. By applying, you consent to this cross-border processing.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023: access, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal, nomination, and grievance redressal.

11. SECURITY

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place; no system is completely secure.

Material changes will be notified via website banner before taking effect. This policy applies to NextGen Forge Technologies regardless of any future change in its business or organizational structure.
